Hello, I’m Aki, the host of Tokyo Mom’s Kitchen.

I’m a mother of three, a self-taught cook, and a big fan of travel and cultural exchange. After raising my children and meeting travelers from all over the world, I realized that what people remember most about Japan isn’t luxury or perfection—it’s warmth, home-style flavors, and human connection. That’s why I started Tokyo Mom’s Kitchen: a place where guests can experience real Japanese home cooking, just like visiting a local mom’s kitchen.

Here, I welcome people from every corner of the world to cook, talk, laugh, and share stories over a meal. My style is not about fancy plating or restaurant skills—it’s about comfort, joy, and learning through hands-on experience. Whether we’re wrapping gyoza, rolling sushi, or making miso soup, each dish becomes a bridge between cultures.

I hope you’ll join me to experience a little piece of everyday Japan—filled with smiles, good food, and heartwarming memories.
